The COVID-19 Memorial Inc. (CV19M®) is committed to the privacy of our online and offline supporters, online users, donors, retail consumers, and event attendees. CV19M®®operates in accordance with the following privacy policy. By providing CV19M® with your information online or offline, you consent to the terms of this privacy policy.
DATA COLLECTION
When You Register Online with CV19M®
When you register with CV19M® online, you will be asked to provide personally identifiable information including an e-mail address, your name, zip code, username and password. You may also provide us with your telephone number and postal address. However, this information is not required.
As a registered user, you may review, correct, update, or change your profile, including personally identifiable information, at any time by e-mailing us at CV19MPhotos@yahoo.com or calling.

When You Shop Online at the COVID-19 Memorial Emporium

Once you complete your purchase order online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from CV19M®. When You Shop at the COVID-19 Memorial Emporium

When You Make a Donation or Event Ticket/Table Online or Offline
When making a donation, you will be asked to provide personally identifiable information necessary to process and service your request. This may include your name, billing and shipping postal addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card number. Your credit card information will be temporarily stored on a secured server only for as long as necessary to process your payment.
When You Send CV19M® an E-Mail
CV19M® is pleased to receive e-mails from you. Should you choose to send an e-mail to CV19M®, your message and e-mail address will be forwarded to the appropriate department within CV19M® and we will save your e-mail as part of our permanent records. Please be aware that any message, material, ideas, concepts, or other information sent to CV19M® by e-mail will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary.
When You Sign Up for a Volunteer Activity
When you register to be a CV19M® volunteer, we will request your phone number in order to contact you for a phone interview. Should you participate further in the volunteer recruitment process, CV19M® will request that you appear in person for an additional interview and you will be required to complete an application, including your name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, and photo ID.
USE OF INFORMATION
Internal Use
We will use your personally identifiable information in order to respond to your request, process your contribution or fulfill your online order. Your credit card information will be temporarily stored on a secured server only for as long as necessary to process your payment.
We may use your information to inform you of events, send you CV19M® newsletters, request monetary contributions and send you promotions and updates about the Memorial. Out of respect for your privacy, e-mail recipients may opt out of receiving e-mails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the e-mail message, changing your user profile, e-mailing CV19MPhotos@yahoo.com, or calling 213.820.1952.
From time to time, CV19M® will provide you with the opportunity to participate in surveys. Unless we inform you otherwise, your voluntary participation in these surveys is completely anonymous. We use the information gathered from the surveys to improve the experience of visitors to the COVID-19 Memorial and CV19M's website.
CV19M® may combine the information you provide us online with other personally identifiable information, such as geographical information and purchase history, in order to better serve our visitors. As part of CV19M's exchange policy, other organizations will have access to a shared list for a limited time and will not have continued access to CV19M's list unless an individual voluntarily chooses to respond to their initial mailing. CV19M® will not intentionally disclose any personal information about you (such as your name, street address, telephone number, credit card number, or e-mail address) to any third party if you elect to opt out.
Please note: CV19M® does not rent or sell donor lists. CV19M® never shares the information we receive from customers making online purchases from the COVID-19 Memorial Emporium. Additionally, any data collected for text message opt-in and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Users may find content on CV19M's website that links to the websites and services of our partners, sponsors, or other third parties. DATA SECURITY
CV19M® processes credit card information using secure socket layering (SSL) encryption technology, which protects against interception of your information by third parties. SSL is the standard for most browsers and servers and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. CHILDREN
CV19M® takes special care to protect the safety and privacy of children, and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any personal data to CV19M®. CV19M® encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and help enforce this privacy policy by instructing children to never provide personal data to CV19M® without their permission.
